Earlier in the Year the Year 5 pupils planted some different vegetable seeds as a project aimed at helping them to understand where our food comes from.
The aim was to grow and then use some of the produce to make a meal. Unfortunately they have been unable to taste some of their produce so far but the plants have been carefully seen to by Mr Price, our Site Manager and also by some of the very helpful teachers and teaching assistants.
Miss Steward paid a visit to the plants this week and was able to harvest some beautiful radishes!
Miss Steward wanted us to let her Phi class know that their Radishes tasted absolutely lovely in her salad.
Some of the other plants have also been relocated from classroom to our raised planters in the school playground.
