On Tuesday the 24th of September 2019 Monkwick Junior School will be placing their votes for their new School Council Members. Each of the students who would like to become a School Council Member will be preparing a short speech and manifesto to present to their class before votes take place.
This is a fantastic way of showing the pupils what democracy is all about and shows them the importance of their right to vote.
Once our School Council members are appointed they will attend meetings and help to make important decisions regarding the school such as lunch meal changes.
