An outside agency came into school to deliver a play about the development of democracy and to participate in additional workshops. The workshops focused on how women got the vote and also how the development of democracy has improved the lives of children today. The underlying message revolved around the notion that everybody has a duty to vote. The children had an excellent day and thoroughly enjoyed taking part!

Scenes from Romeo & Juliet, splendidly performed by 6S. The House of Capulet in Romeo and Juliet is one of “fair Verona’s” two feuding families – the other being the House of Montague. Capulet’s daughter, Juliet, falls in love with the son of Montague and they elope much to the anger of their respective families. "For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo.”
